Bambu A1 Mini
Both are fully operational.
Slicer: Bambu Studio. Note, (unless BambuLab restricts functionality) we reccomend OrcaSlicer over Bambu Studio. It's built on top of Bambu Studio, has more features, and is more stable than Bambu Studio on MacOS.
Supported Materials
All common 3D printing materials. Not enclosed, so will struggle to print ABS and other materails that require an enclosure. Hardened nozzles available. See more here: BambuLab Wiki -> What materials can the A1 mini Print?
Nozzle Swap Guide
We have both 0.2mm and 0.4mm nozzles for our A1 Minis. Please ask a Maker Space technician before swapping them.
Note: Please remember to change the nozzle type in the A1 Mini settings: Setting -> Maintenance -> Nozzle

How to Print
Print via USB (Micro SD)
Once you've sliced your model, select the dropdown next to "Print Plate" in the top right, then select "Export plate sliced file" and save it to the Micro SD card using an adapter.

Network Printing
Currently, network printing is only allowed for Maker Space Technicians, but this will change as soon as some IT issues get resolved. Please print via SD card for the time being.
