Software & Networking

Adding New Users (allowing students to cut using their own glowforge account)

hello! I'll add this later

Re-connecting to wifi

Connecting to Wifi

ok so the school‘s network instructions says to *not* fill out the “anonymous identity“ portion of network connection settings. at least for the Glowforge, this is *wrong*.

  1. Go to setup.glowforge.com

  2. Skip to the end and download the Wifi Connection program

  3. Install it, run it, follow the instructions on-screen.

  4. Connect it to UPStudent:

    1. Use your UP student credentials, until we get this fixed.

    2. Contrary to UP instruction: fill both “identity” and “anonymous identity” with the username of the account being used for wifi sign-in. (ex: "johndoe24")

  5. Hit connect and hope!
