Last updated 2 months ago

Open

  1. Drag in/import your DXF file

  2. An import dialog appears ("DXF Input")

    1. Method of scaling: Read From File 🔘

    2. Hit save

    3. NOTE: If this results in an incorrectly sized drawing, try again and select Manual Scaling and enter:

      1. 25.4 for inches, 10 for cm, 1 for mm

  3. An input dialog appears ("SVG Input")

    1. Check: Include SVG image as editable object(s) in the current file 🔘

    2. Hit Ok

  4. Select the drawing, then hit Ctrl + shift + F (or command + shift + F on Mac) on your keyboard to open the Fill and Stroke menu.

  5. Set stroke width under "Stroke Style" to 0.01 mm (make sure to select mm in the dropdown, not px etc

  6. File -> Save (or Save As) -> save your file somewhere
